How do I change my billing information?

Keeping your billing details up to date is essential for ensuring that your invoices are accurate, tax-compliant, and sent to the right department. At Clonable, we use the information provided in your account settings to generate invoices automatically.

How to Update Your Billing Details

Whether you are setting up your account for the first time or your company has recently moved offices, updating your information is straightforward:

  1. Log in to your Clonable dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Billing Information section in the top right of your Dashboard page.
  3. Enter your official company name, address, and VAT number (if applicable).
  4. Save your changes

Why Accuracy Matters

Providing the correct information is crucial. Incorrect information can lead to issues with tax reclamation or internal bookkeeping. We recommend double-checking your details whenever your business undergoes administrative changes to ensure a seamless billing cycle.

Important Timeline for Changes

It is important to understand how and when these changes take effect:

  • Future Invoices: Any changes you save will be automatically applied to your next scheduled invoice.
  • Existing Invoices: Changes to your billing information cannot be applied retroactively. Once an invoice has been generated and sent out, the details on that specific document are locked and cannot be modified.
