Because the platform operates on a proxy level, it can also work with many other systems. As a partner, you can usually connect Clonable without major changes to the existing website. In some cases, additional configuration may be required depending on the technical setup.

How is Clonable technically connected to a website?

In most cases, Clonable is connected through DNS configuration or a small technical adjustment. Once the connection is set up, you can create a Clone of the existing website. From there you configure the international versions and prepare them for launch. Depending on the website setup, some additional technical configuration may be required.

What happens when the original website changes?

When content on the original website changes, the Clone automatically reflects those updates. This ensures the international versions remain aligned with the main website. As a partner, you can review translations and optimise content where necessary. This allows you to maintain control over the quality and performance of the international pages.

What is your role in international SEO?

As a partner, you define the SEO strategy for each target market. This includes keyword research, content optimisation and improving visibility in local search results. Clonable supports the technical structure required for international SEO, such as language versions and indexable pages. You ensure the content and strategy are tailored to each market.

How can translations be adjusted?

You can edit translations directly within the Clonable editor. This allows you to improve context, tone or SEO performance. Adjusted texts can also be locked so they are not overwritten by updates from the original website. This ensures you maintain full control over the content of each Clone.

How are forms, scripts and dynamic elements handled?

Most forms, scripts and dynamic elements function automatically within the Clone. However, some complex integrations or scripts may require adjustments. These situations usually become visible during the demo or testing phase. As a partner, it is recommended that you test important functionality before launching the international site.
