How do leads work in the partner area?
In the partner area, you can register potential customers as leads and track their progress. This helps Clonable follow up on opportunities and ensures leads stay linked to your partner account for commission purposes if they convert into customers.
How do I submit a lead?
You can submit a lead through the leads section in the partner area. This overview shows all leads you have already added and allows you to create a new one.
When you add a new lead, you need to provide the following details:
- Company name
- Domain
- Contact name
- Contact email
- The date you contacted the lead
- Any relevant comments or background information

What happens after I submit a lead?
Once you submit a lead, Clonable links it to your partner account. This ensures that if the lead converts into a customer through Clonable, the related commission is assigned to you. After submission, the lead moves through different statuses depending on its progress. In the partner area, you can use these statuses to track what is happening with each opportunity.
Are there any limits to submitting leads?
Yes, there are a few limits in place to prevent misuse. You can have a maximum of 100 active leads at the same time. The same lead can only be submitted once. If you reach the maximum number of active leads, you can close an existing lead manually to make room for a new one.
What do the different lead statuses mean?
Leads in the partner area can have five different statuses:
- Open
- Pending
- Completed
- Expired
- Denied
Each status shows where a lead is in the process.
What does Open mean?
Open is the default status assigned when a new lead is created.
What does Pending mean?
Pending means the lead has been successfully linked to your partner account and can still convert through Clonable.
In practice, this usually means that at least a demo or account has already been created, either by the Clonable team or by the lead itself.
What does Completed mean?
Completed means the lead has converted into a paying customer. Once this happens, the related commission becomes visible in your partner area.
What does Expired mean?
Expired means the maximum lead period has passed. Clonable uses a lead period of up to 90 days. In some cases, this period can be extended in consultation with the Clonable team. If a lead expires, it can no longer be converted for commission.
What does Denied mean?
Denied means the lead was rejected automatically or manually. This can happen for several reasons. For example, the lead may already have a paid Clonable account, may already be linked to another partner, or may not be considered valid for the partner program.
